The Liberation Treatment is a potentially ground breaking
treatment of Multiple Sclerosis discovered by Dr. Paolo Zamboni while
attepting to cure his wife from her MS.
Dr. Zamboni's was unhappy with the results of his initial research into
MS, and what many had considered to be the factors contributing to MS.
Dr. Zamboni set out to discover what actually causes MS.

What is Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is referred to a disease which cause the degeneration of the Central Nervous System (Brain and Spinal Cord). Inflammation due to MS causes the Myelin – a dielectric material that forms a layer around the neuron’s axon and responsible for the proper functioning of the nervous system – to disappear. As a result, the electrical impulses that travel through the nervous system decelerate which affect the reflexes and movements of MS patients. As more nerves are affected with MS, patients experience difficulties with functions that are controlled by the nervous system such as walking, writing, memorizing, vision, and even speech (Talking).
The causes of MS is still unknown, however; researchers suspect that a foreign agent (Known as Virus) trigger the immune system in a way it recognizes Myelin as an intruder and attacks it. This process is called autoimmunity, and thus MS is believed as autoimmunity disease.

The CCSVI Liberation Treatment could be the cure but fact remains that the rate of re-occlusion is stuck at 50% and MS patients being treated in the European and Asian countries end up suffering as they did, 3 months ago. While Big Pharmaceutical Corporations and governments in the US and Canada are coming up with new ideas to stop any advancements to the CCSVI theory (Like the superbugs, etc.), millions continue to travel to countries like India and Poland to get this simple procedure and no valuable data is recorded to support the CCSVI theory. Unless we get our position strong enough to support the CCSVI Theory, we will never be able to beat the Pharma Corporations or start the treatment here and many will keep suffering and dying even after having the procedure done. Causes of MS
The causes of MS is still unknown, however; researchers suspect that a
foreign agent (Known as Virus) trigger the immune system in a way it
recognizes Myelin - a dielectric material that forms a layer around the
neuron's axon and responsible for the proper functioning of the nervous
system - as an intruder and attacks it.
This process is called autoimmunity, and thus MS is believed as
autoimmunity disease. Although the some of the Myelin could be repaired,
but some nerves become fully exposed with no Myelin protection
(Demylinated nerves).
The disease is unpredictable: intense flare-ups might be followed by
remissions.
Symptoms and Consequences
Symptoms of MS have series of ranges: It could be one symptom or
multiple symptoms, mild to severe in intensity, and short to long in its
duration. It usually hits between the ages of 20 and 40, and is more
common in women than in men.
Here are lists of symptoms that are common in within patients diagnosed
by MS:
The first common symptom of Multiple Sclerosis is the Visual Disturbance
patients' experience. Patient may experience a patch of blurred vision,
red - to - orange or gray distortions, or monocular visual loss (one
eye vision loss). The visual symptoms are due to the inflammation caused
by MS and usually the vision symptoms are the first to be visible to
the patient is due to the sensitive eye nerve system compared to other
nervous systems.
The second common symptom could be the Limb weakness along with
difficulties in coordination and balance.
The third symptom includes numbness, fatigue, muscle spasms, and
pricking pain. Loss of sensation, speech impediment, tremors, or
dizziness could also be present in the early stages of the MS.
Other symptoms my include depression, paranoia, sexual dysfunction,
reduced bowel and bladder control.
According to research, fifty-percent of people experience decreased
concentration, attention deficits, memory loss, judgment impairment, and
the inability to multitask.
MS Diagnosis
Physicians and neurologists require detailed and complete examinations
of the following to confirm MS presence:
1 - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (known as MRI) helps to identify,
describe, and date lesions in the brain through intravenous gadolinium.
2 - An Electro-physiological test that examines the impulses' peed and
intensity travelling through the nervous system.
3 - Test to examine the Cerebro-spinal fluid that surrounds the brain
and spinal cord which helps in detecting any abnormal chemicals
(antibodies) or cells that confirm the presence of Multiple Sclerosis.
All of these tests help the neurologists to confirm that a patient is
infected by Multiple Sclerosis.
MS Treatment
Many treatments done by physicians focused on curing the nerve slow
response problem rather than curing the causes of MS because it was
unknown.
However, Dr. Paolo Zamboni has postulated that MS stems from a narrowing
or blockage in the veins that drain blood from the brain, known
medically as CCSVI, or chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency.
Zamboni thinks this impaired flow of blood from the brain builds up
pressure, and that the resulting collection of blood may cause MS
symptoms.
Chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) is a condition found
in twice the number people with multiple sclerosis than in the average
population, where blood doesn't properly drain from the brain because of
a narrowing in the veins that bring deoxygenated blood from the brain
to the heart. The main veins are the jugular veins and the azygous. Due
to this partial blockage, deoxygenated blood either stays too long in
the brain or can reflux back into the brain causing various adverse
effects, including:
1) A lack of oxygen (hypoxia) in the brain;
2) Inflammation caused by plasma and blood, which can also set off an
autoimmune reaction; and
3) Iron from blood deposited on brain tissue can damage Myelin, and over
time results in nerve damage (think of rust built up on a motor).
CCSVI was first found combining extracranial and transcranial doppler
sonography. Five parameters of venous drainage have been proposed to be
characteristic of the syndrome, although having two of them is enough
for diagnosis of CCSVI:
Reflux in the internal jugular and vertebral veins,
Reflux in the deep cerebral veins,
High-resolution B-mode evidence of stenosis of the internal jugular,
Flow in the internal jugular or vertebral veins that could not be
detected with Doppler, and
Reverted postural control of the main cerebral venous outflow pathways.
Use of Magnetic resonance Venography for the diagnosis of CCSVI in MS
patients has limited value, and has been proposed to be used only in
combination with other techniques.
Liberation Treatment
A CCSVI Liberation Procedure is a minimally invasive procedure. You can
expect to remain in hospital for 5 days after surgery for monitoring and
follow-up care. A further 3 day at a local hotel after hospital
discharge is also necessary before you are permitted to fly.
Recovery is relatively simple and rapid. Bruising is normal. You will
receive wound care instructions and may be prescribed medication.
The CCSVI Liberation Procedure for MS patients is a recent advance in
medical technology. As with all surgical procedures, it is strongly
recommended you consult with your physician and/or specialist so you are
fully informed as to whether this procedure is appropriate for your
medical condition and of all possible complications.
The Liberation treatment is not available in the US and Canada yet
although more than 700,000 patients suffer from MS and cannot move on
normally with their lives. Even if the procedure will become available,
however; I am pretty sure it will be expensive and not anyone could
afford it. Many patients decided to take their procedure abroad in
countries such as India, Poland, or Italy through Medical Tourism

What is CCSVI?
Chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) is described as a chronic problem where blood takes longer to return to the heart from the brain and spine and it can reflux back into the brain and spine and cause leakage of red blood cells and fluids into the tissues of the brain and spine. Blood that remains in the brain too long create a deposition of iron which in turn damages the brain tissue.
The discovery of Liberation Treatment
It all started with the Dr. Paolo Zamboni's search to understand the root cause of Multiple Sclerosis. After studying all of the MS patients, 90 % of the MS patients suffering from the same condition, he found that that almost all of them had a narrow, twisted or blockage of the veins that are supposed to flush blood from the brain. In addition to this, he found high level of iron deposition in the brain leads to obstructed blood flow. Recent discovery by Dr Zamboni suggested to open such blocks and allow free flow of blood through veins to brain, which then termed this treatment as Liberation treatment.
Liberation treatment is the most popular discovery for the treatment of Multiple sclerosis (MS).Multiple sclerosis is a disease of central nervous system, which occurs mainly between the ages of twenty to forty and in higher numbers of women than men. In MS, myelin sheath that protects the body's nerves erodes and nerves get s damaged. Scar tissue is seen where demyelination occurs in the brain and spinal cord which is caused by an autoimmune process, in which the body's own immune system attacks its own healthy tissue.
In the immune system, there are two types of white blood cells, B-cells and T-cells. The principal functions of B cells are to make antibodies against antigens and destroy the antigen. B-cells plays vital role in humoral immune response whereas T-cells differs from B-cells by the presence of a special receptor on their cell surface called cell receptors (TCR) and plays an important role in Cell mediated immune response. T-cells exist in three forms, all responsible for different immune system responses. Helper T-cells stimulate production of antibodies against foreign antigens, produces cytokines which activate other T-cells. These T-cells are able to recognize foreign antigens through their receptors and destroy the antigen.
Strikingly in MS, helper T-cells are activated by unknown mechanism whose specific receptors recognize central nervous system myelin as an antigen and activates other T-cells by releasing cytokines and adhesion molecules which will adhere to the blood -brain barrier and obstruct the blood flow in the brain and spine.
Surgical Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis
CCSVI is an invasive procedure and simple surgical technique where the use of balloon angioplasty helps to clear the blockage of the veins. This has been termed as ''LIBERATION PROCEDURE''. MS patients around the world are using "the liberation procedure" to widen veins.
